We’re proud to launch Stockport Labour’s Manifesto for 2026.
This plan has been built from real conversations with residents right across the borough — from Brinnington to Bramhall, Offerton to Reddish. And the message we heard was clear: people want a council that gets the basics right.
That means more homes people can actually afford, safer streets, better support for young people, cleaner neighbourhoods and real action on inequality and climate change.
We know Stockport is a place full of potential — but too many people still feel left behind. This manifesto sets out how we’ll keep pushing for change, holding the current administration to account, and standing up for every part of our borough.
This is a practical, deliverable plan focused on what matters day to day.
