Offerton ward incorporates three distinct communities: Offerton, Great Moor and Heaviley. There are sections within the top 10% most deprived areas in the country which present huge challenges and emphasise the lack of investment that local communities nowadays don’t receive. However, these three communities together are entwined by a range of community facilities, including 6 primary schools, 1 high school and 1 college; and 2 libraries/community centres just to name a couple.
